Jean Marie's Story
Life
I have been disabled for over a year now; stricken with Trigeminal Neuralgia in 2002, two brain surgeries in 2002 and one in 2003 (all done by Dr. Ben Carson), left me with permanent nerve damage to left side of face; and a shattered immune system, which I took to my place of work (a high school) where I proceeded to get mono, which led to chronic fatigue. So that's my recent past, current life, and near future as well, although we continue to try new doctors, treatments (there is a doctor in Mexico who is a friend of my husband's father who desparately wants to treat me with stem cells and shark cartilege and we get closer to considering it with each passing month) - love to hear from any classmates who are doctors on that!
